West London quality at West Midlands Prices
Whether you are a total novice just wanting to experience the thrill of clay shooting, or an experienced shooter wanting to improve your technique, we can help you for very little cost.
A former Police World Champion, John coached Warwickshire College to three successive victories in the national Schools Challenge events of 2011, 2012 and 2013 before being invited to work for four years as an instructor at the prestigious West London Shooting School. During that period John also regularly coached shooters in Austria at Wiener Neustadt and Schrick Shooting Grounds, helping many to achieve national honours.
John now regularly employs the services of former England International Rebecca Sealey along with many other experienced shooters according to the needs of the client.
John and his experienced team of fellow freelance instructors can now offer a high standard of coaching here at Three Lakes Gun Club or by private arrangement at other venues, at prices more palatable to West Midlands pockets.
Individual packages can be customised according to your needs but as a rough guide we can offer the following standard introductory packages here at Three Lakes Gun Club.
Clay taster session:
• including 25 clays and cartridges £ 25
• including 50 clays and cartridges £ 45
Packages can also be tailored for off site corporate entertainment purposes, birthday parties, stag and hen events etc. Prices for off site events may vary slightly subject to venue location and ground rental, insurance, pre-event preparation work, distances, target quantities and staff numbers required.
Please note that it is legal requirement to have a Firearms Act Sec 11(6) permission in force for any venue where non licence holders are shooting clay targets under supervision. This is something that we as the shoot providers will arrange, but it can take several weeks to process through the local Police Firearms Licensing Departments so adequate notice is required. A Sec 11(6) permission can be for a single event or for multiple events over a 3 year period but due allowance must be made for the processing delays.
We have already worked with the Hatton Estate near Warwick to establish a clay shooting facility for corporate events and they can be contacted via the following link.
If you are a rural based hotel or conference centre wishing to host similar such events on or off your own site please talk to us, as I am confident we can develop a mutually beneficial relationship.
For those seeking to improve their shooting at game or in clay competition, 3 Lakes Shooting offers a variety of packages and we will utilise a variety of shooting grounds according to individual client needs.
John’s personal rates work on a sliding scale from £40 for a one hour lesson, £60 for a two hour lesson, £100 for a ½ day and £150 for a full day, plus fuel/hotel expenses when necessary. Lessons of 2 hours or more can be shared by up to three people, thereby making it very cost effective per head.
